WesCare Professional Services is an innovator in technology. This allows us to provide the highest levels of care and support to our consumers, while providing our partners with the information needed to make informed treatment decisions.
WesBase is our proprietary online database. It is the culmination of over 6 years of research and development resulting in a comprehensive internet-based application that provides our staff with fingertip access to the most up-to-date information on all our clients.
A small sample of the items tracked in WesBase include the following:
- Incident Reports
- ABC Data
- Shift Notes
- Staff Trainings
- Current Diagnosis
- Current Medications
…and much more.
Incorporating technology like WesBase into our workflow helps us to be more efficient and productive by providing faster, easier access to important data. However, it’s not just an ordinary database. It has built-in outbound email capabilities, which allow us to keep the entire team well informed automatically and at the same time stay within HIPAA laws.
When our staff enters a new incident report WesBase automatically emails it to the team. This is just one of over 30 different emails that can be sent out automatically on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly interval.
For case managers our monthly report will help you make the most of the newly reduced case management hours. This report will give you a summary of progress made towards goals, the number of incident reports, the number and type of behaviors, current medications and more.
When you place your client with us you get access to all of this information at no additional charge. Call us at (336) 272-8335 to schedule a demo today.
Day Support Tablet Pilot Program
Additionally, we work to incorporate technology into the daily experiences of the consumers in our care.
As part of the WesCare Day Support Program, we launched a Pilot Tablet Program in November 2016. Within the classroom, consumers are learning the basics of tablet usage and becoming acclimated with the technology.
Moving forward, they will use the tablets to enhance their learning by interacting with various educational apps focused on basic reading, basic math, and sign language. Eventually, they’ll also learn to use the tablets in ways that further contribute to their everyday lives, like completing homework assignments and establishing email accounts. Sponsored by WesCare, we’ve implemented the use of three tablets with the goal of soon supplying every Day Program participant with their own.
